the C word – reCONNECT workshop

To accompany my exhibition the C word,  I will be hosting reCONNECT a  two-hour experimental workshop that explores the notion of the Self through personal identity and art making.

Beginning with a series of short hands-on loosening up exercises, this workshop aims to unlock pathways into the realm of creativity through the use of collage textiles and wire armature. Each session will end with a brief dialogue in order to gain a deeper understanding in discovering your inner Creative Self.

Venue The Old Ambulance Station, 80 Howard St, Nambour Q 4560.
Workshop Thursday 1 September from 10am to 12pm.
All materials will be provided.
Participants are encouraged to bring along various items of personal significance, in particular one piece of clothing (must be cotton) which can be torn into strips, plus a few small favourite objects, i.e. broken jewellery, keys, etc.
Bookings essential $10pp (+ small booking fee) – COVID Safe Limited Numbers – visit the Horizon Festival website.
