It gives me great pleasure to extend this warm invitation to my next solo exhibition …

A sea of two thousand butterflies suspended from the roof of the gallery foyer creates a kinetic sculpture, counterpointed by a specimen wall where thousands of butterflies printed with abstract imagery are pinned for closer observation.

Exploring concepts of transformation, each butterfly is created from used tea bags sourced from the community, while the title (French for butterfly) reminds us that this work invokes a new language.

Examine elements of design and create abstract imagery on a used tea bag with discarded materials using the Frottage technique and then create a tea bag butterfly to take home as a keepsake.
