Workshop details are as follows:

2017
Leafy Christmas Critters (5 – 8 years)
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse …” What is your favourite Christmas animal – is it a Reindeer, a Red Robin, or a maybe it’s a Dove? Make your own using pressed dried leaves of different shapes and sizes.
Wednesday 20th December, 11am to 12noon – $10 bookings required

Flutterby Butterfly (9 – 12 years)
Let’s make a kaleidoscope of butterflies using the Frottage (French for rubbing) technique. We’ll create abstract imagery on a tea bag using discarded materials, then sew them together on a hand-crank sewing machine to create a decorative butterfly.
Wednesday 20th December, 1.30pm – 3pm – $10 bookings required

2018
Minion Mascots (5 – 8 years)

Kevin, Stuart or Bob – which is your favourite Minion? Make one in clay, or make them all. Take your creations home and paint them later.
Tuesday 9th January, 11am to 12noon – $10 bookings required

You Minion, You (9 – 12 years)
Love those small yellow creatures known as minions? What would you be like if you were a minion? Create a character of your own design in the form of an endearing clay sculpture. Artist Kim will teach you tips and tricks and assist you with developing your clay modelling skills.
Tuesday 9th January, 1.30pm – 3pm – $10 bookings required

Tantalising Tea bag Collage (5 – 8 years)
Choose fun and inspiring images from magazines and learn the art of photomontage to create your own collage work of art. Incorporate delicate tea bags to create layers while exploring Kim’s artistic process.
Wednesday 10th January, 11am – 12noon – $10 bookings required

Dada Design (9 – 12 years)
Be inspired by German Dada artist Hannah Hoch’s photomontage and create your own collage masterpiece. Cut random images from magazines and paste on to laminated sheets along with tea bags to create sepia tones with an aged effect.
Wednesday 10th January, 1.30pm to 3pm – $10 bookings required
